An overview of the fixtures for the 2017 season:
The main purposes of the club are to provide facilities for and to promote participation in the amateur sport of Cricket in Letchworth Garden City.
Membership of the club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport on application, regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs, except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of Cricket.
The club may have different classes of membership and subscription on a non-discriminatory and fair basis. The club will keep subscriptions at levels that will not pose a significant obstacle to people participating. The club committee may refuse membership, or remove it, only for good cause such as conduct or character likely to bring the club or sport into disrepute. Appeal against refusal or removal may be made to the members.
Junior Training - 2017 Season:
The summer season will start on Friday the 21st April for the cubs (School years 1 and 2), under 8s and 9s (School years 3 and 4) with the under 10s to 15s (school years 5 and upwards) starting on Saturday the 22nd April with training at the following times:
|Cubs||Training Friday evening – 6 pm to 7 pm|
|Under 8 and 9||Training Friday evening – 6 pm to 7 pm|
|Under 10 to 15||Training Saturday Morning – 9.15am to 10.45am|
|Under 16/Under 17||Training with senior programme on a Tuesday evening|
The club have teams in every age group from under 9s upwards in the Herts Junior Cricket league as well as a Girls team entered in the Herts Girls Under 13s league.
We are always looking for new players of any ability or experience to join the club as well as volunteers to help out with coaching, managing matches, scoring etc. The junior section is run purely on a voluntary basis and the more people involved the more cricket !

Welcome to the website of Letchworth Garden City Cricket Club established in 1905. Since that date we have provided a friendly environment for all to play cricket, supporting the local community in North Hertfordshire.
We are recognised by the ECB and Hertfordshire as a key "Focus Clubs" ,having recently been re-accredited for "Clubmark" which recognises sports clubs who exhibit excellence in club organisation and have active policies relating to Equity, Child Welfare and Safety.
We also provide a broad cricket programme for both senior and junior players, with 5 senior Men's teams,the best Ladies team in Hertfordshire and competitive cricket for boys and girls from 6 to 16 years of age.
